Our 4743 square foot home was built in 1893 and is on the official National Registry of Historic Places certified by the US National Parks Service. Originally the D.W. Beckham Residence, circa 1885, Historic Ann’s 1893 is in the Roulhac District, Union City’s first subdivision.

Historic Ann’s 1893 has passed all inspections and zoning ordinances to to operate as an event/wedding venue in a historic residential district. All indoor facilities have abundant air-conditioning/heating for large events.

Main Floor

The main floor has two large adjoining spaces which flow into 2 additional rooms and large hallway intended to serve as indoor ceremony and/or reception space. There is an additional dining room on this floor which may also open up and connect to the larger rooms and serving events for either formal sit down dining or more casual buffet/cocktail style. The layout may be adapted for indoor ceremony, formal dining, or more casual reception space. The Catering Kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, commercial warming unit and sink, as well as a large microwave (but no cooking appliances), along with abundant counter space. There are 3 bathrooms on this floor.

Outdoor Spaces

The outdoor garden has room for ceremony and/or reception spaces with a custom made wooden arbor and lights everywhere! There is ample space for the ceremony and audience seating. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there is plenty of room to move the ceremony inside. Covered reception area may be used rain or shine.

Bridal Floor

The Bride’s Brick Upstairs Floor and Salon provides a private and special place for the bride and bridal party to dress and be together in the time prior to the big event. It includes two styling chairs, dressing area, kitchenette with Keurig, refrigerator, sink, microwave, and bar. This floor has a full private bath and separate room for lounging and hanging out with friends and family.

Groom’s Floor

The Groom’s Basement is our hangout spot for the guys to dress, relax, recreate, and more! There is changing area, bar, gaming table which works for pool, ping pong, or dining table, along with full kitchen.

Front Porch

The front porch is a classic. Feel free to work this space into any part of the weekend that you envision. Can be reconfigured to accommodate several large 60” round tables and/or cocktail tables for a classic Southern charm reception space.
